Commercial Cladding Resprays

Restore faded, chalky or mismatched rain-screen cladding for a fraction of replacement cost — colour-stable coatings with warranties up to 15 years.

Faded, chalky cladding ages a building faster than anything else — and replacing it is brutally expensive. Commercial cladding resprays from AT Precision Coatings restore rain-screen panels, standing seams and composite systems to better-than-new condition, using coatings engineered for decades of exterior exposure.

Our systems are specified per substrate: polyester powder-coat, PVDF, plastisol and anodised aluminium each demand different preparation and primers. Get that wrong and coatings fail; get it right and manufacturers back the finish with warranties of up to 15 years.

Beyond the cosmetic transformation, respraying is the sustainable choice. Panels stay on the building, skip waste shrinks to nearly nothing, and the upgraded coating improves the thermal and corrosion performance of the envelope. Most schemes run storey-by-storey with the building fully occupied throughout.

Why commercial cladding resprays

Up to 80% cheaper than re-cladding

Respraying transforms tired panels for a fraction of the cost — and none of the planning headaches.

15-year warranties

Systems are available with manufacturer-backed durability warranties on prepared substrates.

Colour change or like-for-like

Refresh the original shade or rebrand completely with any RAL, BS or NCS reference.

Zero demolition waste

No panels to landfill — respraying is the sustainable alternative to strip and re-clad.

How it works

  1. 1

    Cladding survey

We test coating integrity, identify substrate types and check for failed seals or hidden corrosion.

  2. 2

    Specification

You receive a written system build-up: primer, build coats and fluoropolymer or PU topcoat.

  3. 3

    Deep clean & key

Biocidal wash, degrease and abrade to create a sound, keyed surface for adhesion.

  4. 4

    Controlled application

Sprayed coats applied to specified film thickness with full masking of glazing and walkways.

  5. 5

    Handover

Final inspection, seal checks and issue of guarantee documentation.

Questions, answered

Can chalky or faded cladding really be saved?
In most cases, yes. Chalking is the surface of the original coating degrading — once removed and stabilised with the correct primer, a new system bonds directly to sound material.
How do you handle delaminating coatings?
Failed or flaking areas are mechanically removed back to a sound edge, spot-primed and blended. If delamination is extensive we will tell you honestly before you commit.
What about the joints and seals?
We inspect and, where needed, replace failed sealant before coating. Silicone detailing is masked and left crisp.
Will you work around our tenants or staff?
Always. Occupied offices, retail parks and schools are standard for us — we sequence elevations to keep entrances clear.
How disruptive is the process?
Mainly low-noise. Abrading is the noisiest stage and is scheduled to suit you. Overspray risk is engineered out with screens and sheeting.
